01Who we are
DistroRig is operated by Rivvs LLC, a limited liability company organised in New York, United States. In these terms “we”, “us” and “DistroRig” mean Rivvs LLC. “You” means the person or company using the service.
By creating an account, or by using any part of the service, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company.

02What the service does
DistroRig is a distribution rig for mobile apps. In normal operation it:
- Records your app running, either on a simulator we drive or from footage you upload.
- Cuts that footage into short vertical video, and composites hooks and captions onto it.
- Queues the result for your approval before anything goes out.
- Publishes approved posts to the social accounts you have connected.
- Reads install and product-page data from your App Store Connect and Google Play accounts, and attributes installs back to individual posts.
Some of this happens on a schedule you set. Nothing is published to a connected account without either your explicit approval of that post or a standing auto-publish setting you turned on yourself.
We add, change and retire features. If we remove something you rely on, we will tell you by email before it goes.
03Your account
Accounts are created with a magic link sent to your email address. That email address is your credential, so keep access to it secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. One account is for one person or one company. Do not share account access with people outside your organisation.
Tell us promptly at support@distrorig.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
04Your app, your content
You own your content. Your app, its footage, your icons and screenshots, your captions, your branding: none of that becomes ours. We claim no ownership over it and we do not sell it.
To do the job you hired us for, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (crop, trim, scale, composite text onto), and transmit your content, for the sole purpose of operating the service for you. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies sitting in backups until they expire on their normal cycle.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you put into the rig, including any music, fonts, trademarks, third-party SDK interfaces, or people appearing in footage. If your app displays content belonging to someone else, clearing it is your responsibility, not ours.
We may use anonymised, aggregated performance data (for example, that captions under nine words outperform longer ones) to improve the product. This never includes your footage, your app identity, or anything that identifies you.
Publishing on your behalf
When a post goes out, it goes out as you, from your account, and you are the publisher of it. Review what the rig produces before approving it.
05Connected accounts
The service only works once you connect third-party accounts: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, App Store Connect, Google Play Console. You do that through each platform’s own authorisation flow, and you can disconnect at any time from your dashboard.
- You must comply with each platform’s own terms and policies. Ours do not override theirs.
- Platforms change their APIs, rate limits and rules without consulting us. If a platform blocks, throttles, or removes a capability, publishing to it may degrade or stop, and that is outside our control.
- Platforms can suspend or ban accounts for reasons of their own. We are not responsible for action a platform takes against your account.
- Credentials and tokens you give us are used only to perform the actions you asked for, and are stored encrypted.
06Acceptable use
Do not use DistroRig to:
- Publish an app or content you do not have the rights to, or that infringes someone else’s intellectual property.
- Promote malware, scams, fraudulent apps, or anything unlawful.
- Publish sexual content involving minors, content that sexualises minors, or content that harasses, threatens or incites violence against anyone.
- Manufacture fake engagement, buy or coordinate inauthentic accounts, or otherwise game platform metrics.
- Misrepresent an app’s function, pricing, or authorship in the material we publish for you.
- Circumvent platform rate limits, resell access to the rig, or run it for clients unless you are on a plan that permits it.
- Attack, probe or overload our infrastructure, or attempt to access another customer’s data.
We do not pre-screen posts, but we can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
07Plans, billing and refunds
Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you are; where we are required to collect tax, it is added at checkout.
08What we do not promise
We do not promise installs, views, followers, or revenue. The rig makes and ships video and measures what happened. It cannot make an audience want your app, and no one honestly selling you distribution software can promise you an outcome.
Attribution is a best effort. Install numbers come from Apple and Google, arrive on a delay, and are reported at a granularity those platforms choose. Where a direct link between a post and an install cannot be established, we model it and label it as modelled. Treat our numbers as directional, not as an accounting record.
We aim for high availability but the service is provided as-is. Maintenance, platform outages and third-party failures happen.
09Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing us. On closure we stop publishing, disconnect your accounts, and delete your data on the schedule in the privacy policy.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks section 06, that puts our infrastructure or our platform standing at risk, that has not paid, or where we are required to by law. Except for serious or repeated breaches, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we terminate without cause, we refund the unused portion of what you paid.
10Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from content you published through the service, or from your breach of these terms.
11Changes to these terms
We update these terms as the product changes. For material changes we email every account holder at least 14 days before they take effect, and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not, cancel before they take effect and we will refund the unused portion of your current period.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us.
