A TikTok ad for an app has three parts: a hook in the first 2 seconds, the app doing one thing, and one next step. distrorig makes all three. An AI creator says the hook, an AI agent records your app doing the task, and an AI voice narrates. You post it to TikTok or download it for Ads Manager.
What structure works for a TikTok app ad?
| Part | Seconds | Job | What fails |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hook | 0 to 2 | Stop the scroll with a result or a problem the viewer has | Starting with your logo or the app's name |
| Setup | 2 to 5 | Say who it is for and what goes wrong without it | A list of features |
| Demo | 5 to 22 | Show the app doing one task, with the result on screen | Slow taps, empty screens, tiny text |
| Proof | 22 to 26 | The result again, bigger: a number, a finished thing | Claims the demo did not show |
| Call to action | 26 to 30 | One step: search the name, tap the link | Three different asks |
The demo is the part other AI ad tools leave out. A real recording shows the viewer that the app does what the hook claims.
A 30 second ad, second by second
This is an example plan the distrorig assistant could write for a habit tracker with a mobile web version. The creator is a cut-out standing over the recording, so both are on screen at once.
| Time | Picture | Words (said and captioned) | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.0 to 1.8 s | Creator close to camera, shot on Phone, bedroom light | "I've kept a habit for 41 days. First time ever." | A result, said in the first breath |
| 1.8 to 5.0 s | Creator walks closer, holds phone up | "Every app I tried, I quit by week two." | The problem the viewer knows |
| 5.0 to 9.0 s | Recording: the app's home screen, a finger taps "New habit" | "This one asks for one thing." | The app on screen by 5 seconds |
| 9.0 to 15.0 s | Recording: types "Read 10 pages", picks a time, saves | "What, and when. That's it." | One task, start to finish |
| 15.0 to 21.0 s | Recording: the streak screen fills; creator as a cut-out, bottom left | "It shows my streak every morning." | Creator and app together |
| 21.0 to 26.0 s | Recording: the 41 day streak, zoomed | "Missing a day feels worse than reading." | The hook's claim, proven |
| 26.0 to 30.0 s | Creator to camera, then the app's name on screen | "It's free. Search the name." | One step, said and shown |
Two details make it work. The words in the hook match the number on screen at 21 seconds. And the creator never says the app's name before the end.
How to make it in distrorig
- Start a 9:16 project. It records in a phone layout by default.
- Write what the ad is for in the chat: the app, the viewer, the one task to show.
- Give the app's URL and a demo login with a few weeks of sample data.
- Agree on the plan. The assistant proposes the hook, the steps and the script, with buttons for choices.
- Approve the creator's still. You see the look before any clip is made.
- Switch to Action when the plan is right. The agent records, the shots are generated, and voice and captions are added.
- Make 3 hooks. Change only the first shot and keep the rest. Each change makes only that shot again.
- Post or download. Post to your TikTok account now or at a set time, or download the MP4 for Ads Manager.

When it is not the right tool
- If your app is native only, the agent cannot open it. Upload your own phone recording as product footage, or use a tool built for device capture.
- If you want TikTok to run and optimize the campaign, that happens in TikTok Ads Manager. distrorig does not buy ads.
- If you sell a physical product, an ecommerce UGC tool fits better.
What it costs
A Pro plan is $49.99 a month or $479.88 a year. Generated shots and the voice use the monthly allowance; editing, export and posting do not. See pricing.
